Facilitator:
In a dynamic business enterprise, a corporate executive is assessed by his
ability to deal with problems and how he handles them. Among other soft
skills, he would need problem-solving & decision making techniques, if he
wishes to move upwards in the hierarchy. Both these topics are entwined and
support the other. Once the problem is identified, from the several solutions
one has to choose the most effective one. This involves decision making.
Executives, who are lacking these skills, tend to stagnate in their current
position and are left behind in the race towards success. Hence the need for
this skill becomes essential.
